I visited the Vintage Camera Museum here in Singapore with a photography friend of mine last weekend. It was a fantastic experience and I thought of sharing a tiny bit of that in an Instagram Reel. I ended up uploading the same to YouTube since I could easily use that to share it on this blog.
Adventure Awaits, One Reel at a Time
I have always been meaning to get into Film Photography. Back in Sri Lanka, this was nearly impossible since there were no film stocks available for purchase. Even if I were to bring film rolls from Amazon, I still would not have been able to get them developed unless I were to ship them out of the country and back. Now that I am in Singapore, shooting film has become a viable option.
The camera that I am going to shoot with is Kodak Ektar H35; a low-cost half-frame 35mm reusable point-and-shoot film camera with a 1/100 shutter speed and 22mm f/9.5 fixed aperture plastic lens. This is going to be a very interesting challenge in my creative journey as a photographer. This could also be my stepping stone into the world of Lomography.
In a future post, I am going share more details about my experience with this camera and the film stock that I shoot with.

Almost about one year back Insi reached out to me asking where I would be interested in collaborating with her on another bridal portrait shoot for promoting her salon. I always enjoyed working with Insi, so I jumped at the opportunity. I wanted to share a few clicks that I captured during that shoot including one behind the scenes shot of Insi working on Zainab before the shoot.
